  • Continued Monitoring of COVID-19 & Town Services

UPDATED 3/20/2020 3:00pm: The Town of Ledgeview is continuing to monitor the status of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. At this point, we are encouraging the community to take the following measures regarding interactions with Town of Ledgeview departments and services.

All face-to-face and in-person visits to Town government buildings are highly discouraged. We are looking to limit the potential exposure at municipal buildings to protect staff and the general public. This will also help us maintain our ability to continue providing essential services. Please call the respective departments in lieu of coming to a particular department to learn what alternate options there are to conduct business over the phone, email or other technology.

GENERAL INQUIRIES:

If you have a general service inquiry or need assistance from Town staff or consultants, please call or email rather than visit. We can be reached at 920-336-3360 or sburdette@ledgeviewwisconsin.com. We likely can complete your request or transaction without in-person interactions.

BUILDING PERMITS:

You may initiate correspondence and apply for a residential building permit by contacting the Ledgeview Building Inspector via email at dave@eservicesllc.us  Please be sure to indicate the following in the subject line of your email:  LEDGEVIEW and the ADDRESS of the property you are inquiring about.  Building Inspection requests will be handled on a case by case basis with the property owner and the building inspector.  Please email the building inspector to discuss option for building inspection requests.

UTILITY PAYMENTS:

If you are looking to make a payment to the Town, please contact the applicable department by phone to discuss options that would avoid face-to-face contact. A staff directory is available here: https://www.ledgeviewwisconsin.com/about-us/town-staff/. Options include on-line payments or use of the dropbox located inside the entrance vestibule at the Town Community Center 24/7.

GARBAGE AND RECYCLING PICKUP:

Effective immediately, Advanced Disposal will no longer collect refuse and recycling that is not contained in a cart. Loose bags are not acceptable and any items placed outside the cart will not be collected. This procedure is necessary to keep our employees from handling items that may be potentially contaminated with the virus and minimize the spread of the virus to employees, customers and the public. Please ensure that all refuse and recycling is properly contained in the cart in order to be picked up. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this request.

TOWN GOVERNMENT MEETINGS:

All non-essential Town committee meetings will be cancelled indefinitely immediately. For the moment Town Board meetings will continue with only essential agenda items.  No public hearings will be scheduled until further notice.  The next regularly scheduled Town Board meeting is set for April 6, 2020 at 6:00pm at Town Community Center. Town Board members will be participating remotely and the public will be provided information on how to access the meetings via telephonic conference.

TOWN COMMUNITY CENTER ACCESS:

Town staff will remain working, either at Town Community Center or remotely, and will be available to answer questions regarding Town services. Although, face-to-face interaction is highly discouraged. The general phone number for Town Community Center is 920-336-3360. General email inquiries may be emailed to cnagel@ledgeviewwisconsin.com.
