The Service Award Program Committee (SAP) is advisory to the Town Board who makes all final decisions. The powers and duties of the SAP Committee are to make recommendations regarding:

  • Service standards to which the SAP is distributed.
  • Annual contributions made.
  • Annual benefit distributions.
  • Granting of leave of absences.
  • Recordkeeping.
  • Program administration of performance and compliance.
  • Investment options.

The SAP Committee meets quarterly (April, July, November) on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:00 PM. The SAP Committee consists of five members who serve a two-year term.
