Project Updates for week of June 22nd and 29th
Scray Hill Road Project
The intersection of Scray Hill Road / Bower Creek Rd and CTH G (Dickinson Road) has been closed to
The contractor continues to install storm sewer on Scray Hill Road heading up the hill from Carsty. Note
that you will not be able to get around the crew installing the storm sewer so please plan accordingly on
how you can get out of the construction area.
Curb and gutter is being installed at the roundabout. The concrete work for the roundabout should be
completed by July 3rd. Brown County Highway Department will be in on July 6th to grade the roundabout
and place the asphalt pavement. If everything goes well the County would be done paving on July 9th and
the pavement marking would follow. We tentatively have CTH G scheduled to reopen on Monday, July
13th provide the weather cooperates.
CTH GV and Brayden Lane Extension
Most of the work has been completed on this project and the road has been opened. The storm water
detention pond has to be completed yet.
The developer will be pulling building permits for homes soon so there will be a lot of activity in this area.
Bower Creek Road and Red Hawk Landing Subdivision
Storm sewer has been completed. It is planned to start hauling gravel for the streets the week of June
29th. Recent rains backed us up about a week. Due to the intersection of Scray Hill and CTH G being
closed the gravel trucks will take CTH GV to Brayden Lane to the site. We estimate about 5 to 7 days of
Broken Covey and Hickory Valley Court Resurfacing
The work has been completed.
Chip Sealing and Crack Sealing
The crack sealing projects are completed for this year. Chip sealing of Kaftan Road, Creamery Road,
Caboose Lane and Mencheski Lane are tentatively scheduled for July.
