Project Updates for week of June 15th

Scray Hill Road Project

The intersection of Scray Hill Road / Bower Creek Rd and CTH G (Dickinson Road) has been closed to traffic.

The week of June15th the contractor will continue to install storm sewer near the intersection of CTH G and Bower Creek Road.  Once storm sewer is installed at the intersection, they will be moving south on Scray Hill Road.

Work at the proposed roundabout is going full steam ahead.  The contractor is grading the approaches this week and curb and gutter is scheduled for next week.

CTH GV and Brayden Lane Extension

The turn lane has been paved.   Backfilling of the curb and gutter and landscaping shall be completed this week along with the pavement marking. The lanes closures will be removed by the end of the week, weather permitting.

Bower Creek Road and Red Hawk Landing Subdivision

Storm sewer continues to be installed in the subdivision this week.  Contract has changed the schedule somewhat such that Brayden Lane will be graded late this week and it will then be determined if the roadway subgrade is suitable for placing gravel.  It is estimated that gravel will be installed the week of June 22.  Due to the intersection of Scray Hill and CTH G being closed the gravel trucks will take CTH GV to Brayden Lane to the site.

Broken Covey and Hickory Valley Court Resurfacing

Work on Broken Covey and Hickory Valley Court will begin this week Wednesday.  The work will entail pulverizing the existing asphalt pavement, compacting and shaping it then placing a new asphaltic surface.    The pulverizing and compacting should take about 4 days with the paving taking place next week.   Residents will have access unless work is being done in front of your house.   We do ask that through traffic find an alternative route.

Chip Sealing and Crack Sealing

The crack sealing projects are completed for this year.   Chip sealing of Kaftan Road, Creamery Road, Caboose Lane and Mencheski Lane are tentatively scheduled for July.
