Become an Election Worker

Election workers work at the polls on Election Day as well as assist with early/absentee voting and other miscellaneous election tasks.  There’s a position for everyone from registration to greeting, to working the poll books, to filing.

  • Polls are open from 7 AM – 8 PM on Election Day.  A variety of shifts are available.
  • Training is required.  Morning, afternoon, and evening trainings are available.
  • This is a paid position of $7.50/hour.
  • Residents of Brown County can work in any Brown County Municipality.
  • High School Students at least 16 years of age are welcome to assist with Election Day activities and may receive credit towards civic studies by participating.
  • Food and beverages are provided on Election Day.
