None at this time. From time-to-time, the Ledgeview Fire Department looks for reliable part-time (Paid-On-Call) fire fighters. Department applications can be picked up at the Ledgeview Town Office at 3700 Dickinson Road.
Board of Review-Alternates – The Board of Review is held once a year anytime during the 30-day period beginning on the second Monday in May. The Board of Review is a court-like body that is authorized to adjust assessments when they have been proven incorrect by sworn oral testimony, correct any errors or omissions in the descriptions or computations found on the assessment roll and check the assessment roll for omitted property and double assessments. Members of the Board of Review include the Town supervisors and one citizen who is a resident of the Town and does not hold any public office or be publicly employed. The Town Board may also appoint alternates to the Board of Review. Personnel Committee Member – The Personnel Committee typically meets monthly (if needed) the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 am at the Municipal Building, 3700 Dickinson Road. The Personnel Committee makes recommendations to the Town Board regarding policies relating to the Town of Ledgeview’s employees. The committee will address wage/salary and benefit plans, employee grievances, review of disciplinary actions and personnel policies. The Town Board appoints the committee members annually for a maximum one year term. To be considered for appointment to the Personnel Committee, please submit a Volunteer Sign-up Sheet.
Zoning & Planning Alternate Member – The Zoning & Planning Committee is currently seeking volunteers for an Alternate Member. The Zoning and Planning Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday after the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. The Zoning and Planning Committee meets to make recommendations to the Town Board on all zoning related issues. The Town Board appoints the committee members for a maximum two year term.
