Community Vision and Strategic Planning Process
The Town of Ledgeview has recently completed the 2011 strategic planning process to develop an implementation strategy to achieve the community vision (identified below). In addition to several strategic planning sessions, the Town Board has sought input from committee members, community leaders and staff to identify what is working well, where the opportunities are and what changes need to occur to achieve the vision for our community.
Town of Ledgeview Mission Statement:
The Town of Ledgeview is a policy making, governmental organization that plans and invests for orderly and appropriate community development while promoting opportunities and protecting its citizens, businesses and natural and cultural amenities. The Town participates and encourages an open and engaging discussion on community issues with its citizens, businesses and other governmental entities and stakeholders.
Town of Ledgeview Vision Statement:
The Town of Ledgeview, a growing community located along the Niagara Escarpment, Fox River and I-43 Corridor, will provide comfortable living for residents, families and professionals. Attracted by the natural beauty and city services in a country atmosphere, Ledgeview will have housing growth that compliments the natural amenities of the Town. Linked to the residential areas, its business corridors will have a clear identity, provide distinct shopping and dining experiences and enhance the workforce opportunities for the area. The Town of Ledgeview will be a place where residents and businesses - set their sights high.
