Ledgeview GV Corridor Committee

SCOPE OF STUDY:

A Strategic analysis that will provide and overview and development plan for a downtown Ledgeview ( CTH GV/CTH G and the related GV Corridor).  The intent is to provide guidelines to improve the function and aesthetic value of the GV Corridor in the Town of Ledgeview.  This analysis and related guidelines, along with an implementation strategy, will form the basis of a vision to create an identity for Ledgeview that will benefit the general public as well as individual business owners along the corridor.  The result will be an improved atmosphere for growth and development and will include an overview of the following:

  • Current and future infrastructure needs
  • Demand for other municipal services and/or utility services
  • Multi-modal facilities
  • Amenities such as – street lighting, signage (i.e. entry statements, kiosks, etc), landscape, pedestrian features, banners, paving, stormwater features.
  • Work on a street name change for Monroe Road.
  • Further establish ways of promoting Ledgeview and a Ledgeview identity.
  • Plans and projections for future growth
  • Community needs, desires, expectations and support for various options
  • Fiscal resources and the impact of funding any of the findings
  • Existing resources that might be made available, if any, for any of the various options and action steps that are reviewed.
