Featured Project: CTH GV Reconstruction
Plans for the reconstruction of CTH GV from CTH G to CTH X have not progressed as fast as originally planned so construction of this section of roadway will not be completed in 2013. The Brown County Public Works Department, in conjunction with Ledgeview, is working on the roadway design and right-of-way platting. A public information meeting is expected to be held sometime this spring. Roundabouts are planned for the intersections of CTH GV at Ledgeview Road/ Oak Ridge Circle and at the intersection of CTH GV and CTH X. Some work may be done this fall while maintaining traffic on CTH GV and the remaining work done in 2014 with CTH GV being closed to traffic from CTH G to CTH X. The Town is planning to install street and trail lighting and trees in the median this summer in the section of CTH GV north of CTH G. This work will be done under traffic with some lane closures during the project. Brown County Public Works will be paving the trail on the west side late this summer or early fall.
Please contact the Ledgeview Office if you have any questions on the project.
A visual fly-over of the portion of CTH GV that was reconstructed in 2012 has been completed by the Brown County Planning and Land Services Department. Enjoy the view!
