CTH GV Reconstruction Project

CTH GV (Monroe Road) Reconstruction Project Update - 2012

The Brown County Highway Department, jointly with the Town of Ledgeview and the Village of Bellevue, will carry out the reconstruction of CTH GV from Bower Creek in Bellevue to the intersection of CTH G (Dickinson Road)/CTH GV (Monroe Road) this year. The project will consist of reconstruction of GV into a four-lane divided roadway with bike lanes and will include an 8 foot trail on the west side of the road.

Work will commence April 1, 2012 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of November 2012.  it is anticipated that the roadway will remain open throughout the project, with limited closures. The speed limit will be reduced from 45 m.p.h. to 25 m.p.h. throughout the project duration.  Please contact the Ledgeview Office if you have any questions on the project.

The Town of Ledgeview is excited to announce that CTH GV (Monroe Road) has been approved to be reconstructed as a four-lane, urbanized roadway. 

A visual fly-over of the proposed project has been completed by the Brown County Planning and Land Services Department.  Enjoy the view!
